The water filter bag makes it possible to prepare water for consumption in the first instance. Based on a concept used by the British army during the Second World War, this filter bag has been fitted with an integrated carrying bag and a string for attaching it to a branch. The string is fitted with a pin, so there's no need to tie it up. This considerably speeds up use of the filter in the field. The filter cleans the water of mechanical impurities. After filtration, simply use chemical tablets or boil the water.
